State Controller Brandon Woolf Announces Reelection Bid

(Boise, ID) - Idaho State Controller Brandon Woolf announces his run for reelection today.

Brandon Woolf, a 6th generation Idahoan, has served as the 21st State Controller of Idaho since 2012.

Hallmarks of Woolf’s administration include:

  • Unprecedented initiatives to improve state and local government transparency, encouraging citizens to critically engage with government spending data to improve public trust.

  • Promoting fiscally conservative values which has helped lead Idaho to be one of the most fiscally healthy states in the union.

  • Working collaboratively with other state agencies and local governments to ensure efficient and effective management of statewide finances.

State Controller Brandon Woolf is committed to conducting the business of government openly and transparently. He leads efforts to improve the openness of government operations, cut costs, and increase accountability in state and local government.

“My rural Idaho roots, where I learned the value of hard work on the family dairy farm, keep me grounded to what makes Idaho exceptional. Every time I travel the vastness of this great state as a leader of our Republican party, I am awestruck by its beauty, but above all, I am proud of the hard working people that help make this state so special,” said State Controller Brandon Woolf. “As Idaho continues to grow, I am committed to keeping our state an amazing place to work, play, and above all, raise a family with the values that have set Idaho apart.”
